The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to seek a qualified Contractor for <br />the Sidewalks, curbs, Guttering, and Miscellaneous Street Improvement Projects <br />throughout the City's limits. <br />1.1 Procedure. Submit three (3) sets of the complete proposal by the closing date and <br />time. The specifications, plans and other documents required for this project may <br />be examined and obtained in the City Clerk's office, 17070 Collins Avenue, Suite <br />250, Sunny Isles Beach, Fl. 33160. <br />1.2. Contract documents, plans and specifications may be obtained upon <br />payment (non refundable) by check in the amount of $75.00 made payable to <br />the "City of Sunny Isles Beach ". No reimbursement will be made by the City of <br />Sunny Isles Beach for any costs incurred in appropriation of the proposal or any <br />presentation(s). <br />1.3. Property of City. All bids and accompanying documentation received from <br />Bidders in response to this invitation to bid /Request for Qualifications shall <br />become the property of the City and will not be returned to the bidders. In the <br />event of contract award, all documentation and work product produced as part of <br />the contract shall become the exclusive property of the City. This subsection is <br />applicable to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Letters of Interest <br />documents, which also become property of the City. <br />1.4. By submission of a bid hereunder, the Bidder becomes responsible to comply <br />with the terms and conditions of the Purchasing Procedures Ordinance of the-City <br />as may be amended from time to time. To the extent of any conflict, the terms of <br />this document control. - <br />2. Backeround. The City of Sunny Isles Beach is a coastal community located in the <br />Northeast part of Miami -Dade County. The City is currently undertaking a major <br />beautification project, which include Sidewalk and Street improvements. The City is <br />seeking to beautify its sidewalks, curbs and gutters as part of an overall beautification <br />project.
