<br />LANDSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS S.R. A-1 -A
<br />(COLLINS AVENUE)
<br />Notice is hereby given that the City of Sunny Isles Beach is re-
<br />questing proposals for Landscape Improvements S.R. A -1 -A (Col-
<br />lins Avenue).
<br />The work includes, but may not be limited to, the furnishing of all labor,
<br />materials, tools, equipment, machinery and services for the purposes of
<br />this bid, shall include landscaping and irrigation improvements including
<br />concrete unit pavers.
<br />A mandatory pre -bid tour will take place on Tuesday, March 26, 2002
<br />starting at 10:00 a.m. Step off location is at Sunny Isles Beach City Hall,
<br />17070 Collins Avenue, Suite #250, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, 33160.
<br />Please call (305) 947 -0606 for further information regarding the tour and
<br />to request a copy of the Bid Specifications, contact the Office of the City
<br />Clerk.
<br />Sealed Bids will be received at City Hall, City of Sunny Isles Beach,
<br />17070 Collins Avenue, Suite #250, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida,
<br />33160, until 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 15, 2002, at which time they will
<br />be publicly opened and read in the City Hall Commission Chambers. The
<br />envelope containing the sealed bid must be clearly marked
<br />"IMPORTANT -BID ENCLOSED FOR LANDSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS
<br />S.R. A -1 -A (COLLINS AVENUE) RFP No. 02 -03 -011 ". Each proposer
<br />must submit one original and five (5) copies of the complete proposal
<br />package. Faxed or e- mailed bids will not be accepted. Bids will not be ac-
<br />cepted after *11:00 a.m. on April 15, 2002 under any circumstances.
<br />Proposals. once received, become the property of the City, cannot be
<br />withdrawn, unless withdrawal is based on the reasons set forth in the
<br />City's procurement ordinance, and will not be returned to the proposers.
<br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach reserves the right to accept or reject any
<br />or all bids, to waive any informality, irregularity or technicality in any bid, to
<br />readvertise for bids, or take any other such actions that may be deemed to
<br />be in the best interests of the City. At the discretion of the City, firms sub-
<br />mitting proposals may be requested to make oral presentation as part of
<br />the evaluation process.
<br />If any addenda are issued to the RFP, a good faith attempt will be made
<br />to furnish a copy of such addenda to each of the persons or firms who, ac-
<br />cording to the records of the City, previously received a copy of this RFP.
<br />However, prior to submitting the proposal, it shall be the sole responsi-
<br />bility of each proposer to contact the City to determine if addenda were is-
<br />sued and, if so, to obtain such addenda. Please contact the Office of the

<br />quest a copy of the RFP package and any addenda.
