Contractor, name of responsible principal, address and telephone number <br />1.04 FORM OF SUBMITTALS <br />' A. Prepare in duplicate packets <br />' B. Format: <br />1. Size 8 1/2 inches x 11 inches, punch sheets for standard 3 -post binder <br />' 2. Cover: Identify each packet with typed or printed title "WARRANTIES AND <br />BONDS ". List: <br />' a. Title of Project <br />b. Name of Contractor <br />tC. Binders: Commercial quality, three -post binder, with durable and cleanable plastic covers <br />and maximum post width of 2 inches. <br />1.05 WARRANTY SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS <br />A. For all major pieces of equipment, submit a one -year warranty from the equipment <br />' manufacturer. The manufacturer's warranty period shall be concurrent with the <br />Contractor's for one (1) year commencing at the time of acceptance by the Owner (see <br />Section 01030). <br />B. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining certificates for equipment warranty for all <br />major equipment specified under division 7, 11, 13, 14, 15 and 16 and which has a 1 HP <br />motor or which lists for more than $1,000. The Engineer reserves the right to request <br />warranties for equipment not classified as major. The Contractor shall still warrant <br />equipment not considered to be "major" in the Contractor's one -year warranty period even <br />1 though certificates of warranty may not be required. <br />C. In the event that the equipment manufacturer or supplier is unwilling to provide a one -year <br />warranty commencing at the time of Owner acceptance, the Contractor shall obtain from <br />the manufacturer a two (2) year warranty commencing at the time of equipment delivery to <br />the job site.
