<br />------.... <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />AGREEMENT WITH CALVIN, GIORDANO <br />& ASSOC. INC. CONTRACT NO. C1011-020 <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, entered into this ~~ -at day of \)E.U::M-€c.~010, by and <br />between the CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH (hereinafter referred as to the "City") and <br />CALVIN, GIORDANO & ASSOCIATES, INC. a Florida corporation, authorized to do business <br />in the State of Florida (hereinafter referred to as the "Consultant"), whose federal tax <br />identification number is <br /> <br /> <br />RECIT ALS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is in need of certain consultant services to include a Director of <br />Capitol Improvements Projects to provide professional construction and government consulting <br />services ("Services"), as more particularly described in Attachment "A", attached hereto and <br />made a part hereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Consultant is qualified, willing and able to provide the Services on the <br />terms and conditions set forth herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into this Agreement with Consultant to provide the <br />Services on a month to month renewal basis with a total not to exceed amount of $11,550.00 <br />(Eleven Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars) per month with a total amount not to exceed <br />$70,00.00 (Seventy Thousand Dollars). <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and for the mutual covenants, <br />representations and warranties and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and <br />adequacy of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. RECIT ALS. The Recitals set forth above are hereby incorporated into this agreement <br />and made a part hereof for reference. <br /> <br />2. CONSUL TING SERVICES. Consultant shall provide to the City the Services as more <br />particularly described in Attachment "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> <br />3. TERM. Subject to the provisions relating to the termination of this Agreement as set <br />forth in Paragraph 9 hereunder, the term of this Agreement shall begin upon the issuance of a <br />Notice to Proceed from the City Manager or his designee with services on a month to month <br />renewal basis that shall end no later than one (1) year thereof. There shall be an optional one (1) <br />year renewal term based on the mutual written agreement of the parties. In the event the parties <br />elect this optional one (1) year renewal term, the Compensation shall be in accordance with the <br />schedule of charges reflected in Attachment "A" without any percentage rate increase. <br /> <br />4. COMPENSATION. Payment to Consultant for all charges and tasks under this <br />Agreement shall be in accordance with this Agreement and a schedule of charges reflected in <br />Attachment "A". The Consultant shall make no other charges to the City for supplies, labor, <br />taxes, licenses, permits, overhead or any other expenses or costs unless any such expense or <br />CIOII-020 Calvin Giordano & Associates, Inc.
