<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that
<br />the CITY OF SUNNY ISLES
<br />BEACH is seeking sealed bids for
<br />the following work as specified.
<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach
<br />Bid No. 05 -04 -01
<br />181 st Drive Active Park
<br />ML Project No. 114123
<br />Sealed bids for the construction
<br />of the 181st Drive Active Park, at
<br />18115 North Bay Road, Sunny
<br />Isles Beach, Florida, 33160, con-
<br />sisting of a two (2) acre site to be
<br />developed as a public recreation
<br />facility will be received by the
<br />Owner, City of Sunny Isles Beach.
<br />Work generally will consist of a
<br />baseball field with lighting, perime-
<br />ter on- street parking, a new recre-
<br />ation center, a new gymnasium,
<br />landscape, infrastructure, and
<br />miscellaneous site amenities.
<br />Bids shall be on a unit price basis;
<br />segregated bids will not be accept-
<br />ed. Sealed bids will be received by
<br />the Office of the City Clerk until 2:00
<br />P.M., on Tuesday May 31 2005 at
<br />the City of Sunny Isles Beach Gov-
<br />ernment Center, 1st Floor Meeting
<br />Room, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida
<br />33160. Bids received after this time
<br />will be returned unopened. Bids
<br />submitted will be opened publicly
<br />and read aloud at this time.
<br />Bidders are to register in person
<br />at the Office of the City Clerk to re-
<br />ceive authorization to obtain the
<br />,omplete set of Bidding Docu-
<br />'nents. General Bid forms can be
<br />)btained from the Office of the City
<br />'lerk. City of Sunny Isles Beach,
<br />3overnment Center located at
<br />18070 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles
<br />beach, Florida 33160.
<br />Bid security in the amount of five
<br />percent ( of 5 %) the Total Bid must
<br />accompany the Bid in accordance
<br />with the Instructions to Bidders.
<br />A mandatory Pre -Bid Meeting for
<br />all potential Bidders is set for 8:00
<br />A.M. on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at
<br />the City of Sunny Isles Beach Gov-
<br />ernment Center, 18070 Collins Ave-
<br />nue, 1st Floor Meeting Room, Sun-
<br />ny Isles Beach, Florida 33160.
<br />The City reserves the right to re-
<br />ject any or all Bids, with or without
<br />cause, to waive technical errors and
<br />informalities, and to accept the Bid,
<br />which best serves the interest of the
<br />City.
