1 D. Section 02490 - Trees, Plants, and Ground Cover <br />' 1.04 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. All irrigation work shall be installed by qualified personnel or a qualified <br />irrigation subcontracting company that has experience in irrigation <br />systems of similar size, scope, mainline, system pressure, etc. as is <br />indicated for this project. The IC shall submit for the Owner's review and <br />approval resumes of all irrigation superintendents and foreman designated <br />to perform the irrigation work and a list of all projects with references with <br />which he or she was involved; those projects must be of similar size and <br />' scope as this project. If the IC elects to use a subcontractor for this <br />portion of the work, the subcontractor shall have been in operation for a <br />minimum of five (5) years, and licensed to work in the State of Florida. <br />The subcontractor shall also provide the Owner with a completed pre - <br />qualification form available from the LA, in addition to the personnel <br />resumes noted above for review and approval. The Owner reserves the <br />right to accept or reject the proposed subcontractor or its designated <br />personnel in whole, or in part, based on the information provided. <br />B. All applicable ANSI, ASTM, FED. SPEC. Standards and Specifications, <br />and all applicable building codes and other public agencies having <br />jurisdiction upon the work. <br />' C. The IC shall be responsible for constructing the system in complete <br />accordance with all local codes, ordinances, and laws. Any modifications <br />made to conform with said codes, laws, and ordinances shall be <br />completed at the IC's expense with no additional compensation allowed. <br />D. Protection of Existing Plants and Site Conditions: The IC shall take <br />necessary precautions to protect site conditions to remain. Should <br />' damages be incurred, this IC shall repair the damage to its original <br />condition at his own expense. Any disruption, destruction, or disturbance <br />of any existing plant, tree, shrub, or turf or any structure shall be <br />completely restored to the satisfaction of the Owner and his <br />representatives, solely at the IC's expense. <br />' E. Permits and Fees: The IC shall obtain all permits and pay required fees to <br />any governmental agency having jurisdiction over the work. Inspections <br />required by local ordinances during the course of construction shall be <br />' arranged as required. On completion of the work, satisfactory evidence <br />shall be furnished to the LA to show that all work has been installed in <br />accordance with the ordinances and code requirements. <br />1 07106 02810 -5 05 -5564 <br />
