Mr. Bello has worked as a <br />project manager and project engineer for various projects in South and Central Florida, Central America, and <br />the Caribbean. <br />CURRENT REPRESENTATIVE PROJECTS: <br />South Pointe Phases III /IV /V Right -of -Way Improvement Project, City of Miami Beach <br />Mr. Bello serves as the project manager for this $17.8M multi - discipline project in Miami Beach. This project <br />covers over 8 miles of roadway, water, and drainage improvements, within the strict streetscaping criteria of <br />• Miami Beach. Included in this project are numerous meetings with the community and governmental agencies. <br />General Transportation Engineering Services, City of Key West <br />• Bus Transit Facility — Mr. Bello serves as the project manager for the relocation of the City's existing <br />Department of Transportation building and transit facilities to the Solid Waste to Energy Facility (SWEF). The <br />new facility would have 20,000 SF of vehicle (bus) maintenance space and 5,000 SF of administrative space. <br />The proposed City transit bus facility will include maintenance capabilities, administrative offices, and transit <br />maintenance. The project will be funded in part by the Federal Transportation Authority (FTA) and the Florida <br />Department of Transportation (FDOT). Compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) for the <br />proposed site improvements will be a requirement for the federal funding aspects for the project. <br />North Andrew Gardens Neighborhood Improvement Project (NAGNIP), Broward County Water and <br />Wastewater Services <br />The project encompassed 1,362 acres, 9,000 people, 3,600 homes, and 2,600 septic tanks. The planned <br />improvements for this area included 29 miles of roadway, 83 miles of pipe, and 23 miles of sidewalk. Mr. Bello <br />served as the project manager responsible for design, permitting, and construction administration services for <br />several $6 -$10M bid packages. Assisted Broward County Water and Wastewater Services in obtaining <br />approval for a $4M grant from FEMA. <br />NW 27th Avenue Improvements, City of Pompano Beach <br />Mr. Bello served as the project manager for this $3.2M roadway improvement project. He was responsible for <br />providing CEI and public relation services which include resolving all field design /construction issues and <br />maintaining open communication with the stake holders.
