Chen and Associates has an edge since we are currently working with the City of Miami Beach and have establish a great working relationship with the staff. Additionally, we are continuously monitoring the progress of their future and on -going capital improvement projects. In regards to FPL, the relocation of overhead power can be a daunting task, not necessarily from the engineering point of view, but rather having FPL meet their schedule. We recently completed a Street Lighting project for the City of Dania Beach. We worked very closely with City staff and FPL to get realistic expectations for installing street lighting Existing Area Services by Septic Tanks by FPL. Due to FPL's availability, the City decided to pursue a different option for installation. Chen and Associates was hired by the City to complete the lighting project by installing solar powered lights. The project is currently in the bidding phase and was completed from planning to bidding is less than 4 months.
