Project included base map indicating record plats, <br />street names and widths, address and ownership data pursuant to the records maintained <br />by the Broward County Property Appraiser's Office, conceptual drainage analysis, analyzing <br />the existing drainage areas and addressing the proposed project <br />improvements and their impact on the existing drainage <br />conditions, and numerous public workshops. Project to be <br />completed in 2007. Project Budget $129,000.00 <br /> <br />Contact Person <br />Deerfield Beach CRA <br />Carlos Baia, Manager of Economic Development <br />(954) 480-4222 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Harbor Drive, Pompano Beach CRA: Project included complete engineering design and <br />topographic surveying for a 2-mile portion of NE 26th Avenue (Harbor Drive) from Atlantic <br />Boulevard to NE 14th Street in the City of Pompano Beach. <br />Specific project details involved design for full service roadway, <br />replacement of aging utilities, beautification and traffic calming. <br />The project was completed 2 months ahead of <br />1 schedule with installation of over 30,000 linear feet <br />...., <br />of utilities including 6" to 36" force mains; a lift <br />station, reclaimed water mains and drainage <br />infrastructure installation. Traffic calming measures <br />were implemented without adversely impacting <br />adjacent single-family properties. The roadway <br />reconstruction of the existing two-lane roadway <br />I included landscape medians and roundabouts <br />throughout the corridor. Project also included permitting, <br />construction engineering inspection and administration <br />services, and extensive community liaison services. Keith <br />and Associates, Inc's engineering design team provided <br />community relations services throughout the 24 month <br />construction by establishing a project information hot line to <br />address resident concerns immediately alleviating construction issues and resident calls into <br />city hall.
