<br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />AGREEMENT WITH SEDONA CLEANING, <br />CORP. TO PROVIDE DRY CLEAN SERVICES <br />CONTRACT NO. CIOII-028 <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this l.:~~ay of _fe(lo(tAJ~ 2011, <br />by and between the CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, a unicipal <br />corporation of the State of Florida, (hereinafter referred as to "City") and SEDONA <br />CLEANING, CORP. a Florida corporation, authorized to do business in the State of <br />Florida, (hereinafter referred to as "Contractor"). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to employ a contractor to provide dry cleaning services <br />for the City of Sunny Isles Beach Police Department ("Services"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City solicited three (3) bids and deemed Contractor to be the lowest <br />responsible, responsive bidder; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Contractor has agreed to dry clean the City Police Department's <br />shirts and pants for Two Dollars ($2.00) per shirt/pant; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City agrees to pay the Contractor an amount not to exceed Thirteen <br />Thousand Dollars ($13,000.00) for all City Police Department dry cleaning services during <br />the initial one year term of this agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Contractor is qualified, willing and able to provide the desired <br />Services subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and the mutual covenants <br />herein named, the parties hereto agree as set forth below: <br /> <br />1. RECIT ALS. The Recitals set forth above are hereby incorporated into this <br />Agreement and made a part of hereof for reference. <br /> <br />2. SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED. Contractor shall perform the required Services <br />in compliance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement and Attachment "A". <br />Contractor agrees to furnish all labor and materials in a good and workmanlike and <br />professional manner. Contractor will provide police uniform dry cleaning services with <br />pick-up and delivery included. "Dry cleaning" will consist of the removal of dirt and stains, <br />removal of foul body and foreign odors, and all items will be neatly pressed. All items <br />picked up must be returned clean and pressed on the following pick-up/delivery date. <br /> <br />3. ADDITIONAL SERVICES. If the need for additional work or changes under this <br />Agreement is identified by Contractor during the course of performing its obligations <br />hereunder, Contractor shall set forth such additional work and the cost thereof in a <br />supplemental work order (a "Supplemental Work Order") and submit such Supplemental <br />Work Order for approval by the City Manager or his designee.
