CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS The meeting was called to order by Mayor Edelcup at 7:30 p.m., with the following officials present: Mayor Norman S. Edelcup Vice Mayor Roslyn Brezin Commissioner Gerry Goodman (via conference call) Commissioner Danny Iglesias Commissioner Lewis J. Thaler . i City Manager A. John Szerlag City Attorney Hans Ottinot City Clerk Jane A. Hines, CMC Assistant City Manager Jorge Vera Patricia Saint Vii-Joseph, Deputy City Attorney 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE / INVOCATION Action: Commissioner Iglesias' children Marcello and Andrea led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag, and Richard C. Schulman gave an invocation. Mayor Edelcup gave opening remarks of decorum. 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 3A. Regular City Commission Meeting - June 15, 2006. Action: Commissioner Thaler moved and Vice Mayor Brezin seconded a motion to approve the above-mentioned Summary Minutes. The motion was approved by a voice vote of 5- o in favor. 3B. Special City Commission Meeting - July 6, 2006. Action: Vice Mayor Brezin moved and Commissioner Thaler seconded a motion to approve the above-mentioned Summary Minutes. The motion was approved by a voice vote of 5- o in favor. 4. ORDER OF BUSINESS (Additions/Deletions/Amendments) 4A. Request to Hear Items: Backup Information was distributed pertaining to Items 10F, lOR, 12B and 12C.
