<br />-- <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />.. .. <br />...., TAG...., <br />GRINDING SERVICES, INC. <br /> <br />TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE <br /> <br />Jerry Brooks, CFO for TAG Grinding Services, Inc., has been involved in the debris management <br />and removal services since 1979. In those years of experience, he has participated in over 100 <br />disaster debris management projects. In addition, he is involved in the full-time debris <br />operations of TAG Grinding Services, Inc. He has attended USDA training on the proper <br />techniques and requirements for debris removal management as related to waterways and <br />stream management zones (SMZ). <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Jeff Hill retired from the U. S. Army Corp of Engineers in February 2006. He received a degree <br />in Civil Engineering from Auburn University and had over 30 years with the Corp managing <br />construction at Fort Benning, Georgia. Starting in 1989 when Hurricane Hugo hit Charleston, <br />South Carolina, he worked with the Corp's Savannah District Emergency Management Division <br />responding to disasters. Jeff spent over 2 months doing damage assessments on the City of <br />Charleston and became very familiar with the damage assessment process. He went on to <br />become the Damage Assessment Team Leader on several disasters. He both prepared and <br />taught a Damage Surveying class, using FEMA guidelines on damage assessment and <br />surveying, to Corp personnel. In addition, he has been a part of the initial Damage Assessment <br />Team and the First Response Team, going in to disaster-affected areas in order to assess initial <br />damages for FEMA and the U. S. Corp of Engineers. Jeff also served as the Corp's State of <br />Georgia Coordinator on several events, coordinating Corp response and assistance to the state <br />in their time of need. Later appointed as Action Officer for Temporary Power for the U. S. Army <br />Corps of Engineers and FEMA and as a member of the Temporary Housing Team, he negotiated <br />contracts, located sites, and oversaw the installation of temporary housing. <br /> <br />Both Mr. Brooks and Mr. Hill have attended FEMA training on new guidelines and requirements <br />on stump removal and reimbursement procedures as well as the new payment system of <br />Federal Aid Roads. <br /> <br />John T. Bowden, A.B., LL.B., J.D., a retired attorney, holds these degrees form Mercer <br />University, Macon, Georgia, is a former FEMA employee. While serving with FEMA, he was <br />awarded the thirteen (13) National Incident Management System awards, including: Certificates <br />of Achievement through the Emergency Management Institute in the fields of Public Assistance <br />Operation, Introduction to Incident Command System, Principles of Emergency Management, <br />Emergency Planning Decision Making and Problem Solving, Effective Communication <br />Coordinating Environmental and Preservation Compliance System, National Incident <br />Management System, Historical and Introduction to the National Response Plan. <br /> <br />Charlene Daniel has had training in regards to environmental concerns of asbestos, mold, and <br />other airborne dangers, as well as soil stabilization and erosion control. She is experienced in <br />timber and debris management and is well versed on OSHA safety requirements. She has <br />participated in training classes provided by FEMA for public assistance policies and procedures. <br />She also has years of training in regards to insurance regulations and contract compliance as <br />well as training through FEMA is public assistance rules and regulations. <br /> <br />o Several of TAG Grinding Services' drivers have attended HAZMAT Driver Training. In addition, <br />both Marion Brooks, Jr. and Phillip Goodwin have attended classes on protection of utilities. <br /> <br />Please refer to key personnel listing for more details. <br />
