<br />1. History of the firm, Ownership and Key Management. <br /> <br />Coastal Construction Company was founded in the late eighties by Thomas P. Murphy, Jr. and his brother, John, <br />with the specific purpose of providing the highest quality construction management services available in south <br />Florida. The company founders have been in the construction business in south Florida for more than 40 years, and <br />their family has been involved in the building industry for more than 1 00 years. Coastal Construction Company has <br />focused on the highest-quality and most challenging projects since its inception. <br /> <br />The Murphy's vision of premier construction management services is centered on delivering projects of excellent <br />quality, on time and within budget, with an accomplished team of dedicated, well educated, and pro-active group of <br />leaders. For years, Coastal has been developing our greatest resource, our personnel, into the finest leaders in the <br />construction management industry.. This effort enables us to provide the very best project management teams for <br />our projects and our clients. Our teams have put us in a position to maintain one of the highest repeat client lists <br />in the industry. <br /> <br />Coastal has completed multiple projects similar to the scope of the Sunny Isles Beach Heritage Park and Parking <br />Garage. With over 25 parking garages, and 8 park/recreation facilities in south Florida, we feel we have the best <br />and one of the most experienced teams available. Additionally, we have worked with Spillis Candella on several <br />projects in the past 5 years. Currently, we are completing construction of Trump Royale at 18501 Collins Avenue. <br />The key members of the Trump project would be assigned to this project. <br /> <br />Our team members' experience on Sunny Island started before the city's establishment. Specifically, Dan White- <br />man, our President constructed Dave Sampson Park. Both he and Ed Fallin (Project Executive) have also con- <br />structed hundreds of units in Sunny Isles Beach including 5 Oceania and Oceania Island Towers. We have a great <br />understanding of the Sunny Isles Beach Permitting Process, Building Inspectors, extensive local contacts, and <br />excellent relationships with local residents. <br /> <br />Our dedication to client satisfaction has proved valuable to recently being the highest ranked construction manage- <br />ment firm in Miami-Dade County School Board district according to their internal evaluation process. In addition to <br />exceeding our client's expectations in delivery, we strive for constant communication to assure that our clients have <br />zero surprises. Our clients appreciate our pro-active approach to construction, and our non-confrontational way of <br />working with clients. <br /> <br />We understand the importance of this garage and park to the city and its residents. Tom Jr.'s oldest son, Tom C. is Executive Vice Presi- <br />dent, son Sean is Vice President of Operations. Tom Jr.'s brother, John, is Vice President of Field Operations and <br />cousin Mike is Vice President of Quality Assurance. The five youngest members are involved in Project Manage- <br />ment, Field Supervision, Safety and BIM. <br /> <br />In addition to the Murphy's, other key managers include Dan Whiteman-President and partial owner, Ken Alderman <br />CFO, and Dennis Foster - Purchasing.
