<br />5.Final Selection: The applicant receiving the highest cumulative score based on the interview, <br />job-related experience, professional qualification security clearance and positive references will <br />be selected for the position, <br /> <br />6.Notification of Employment: Following selection of the most qualified applicant, he or she <br />will be notified by telephone and the selection confirmed in writing. <br /> <br />Reference and Background Check: Checks will be as thorough as possible and will include <br />employment history, medical checks, drug screening and character references. <br /> <br />Personnel Development Plan <br /> <br />Bayus Development and Leadership training for crossing guards personnel will follow a "Hands <br />on Approach," largely a product of the security assessment, wand will usually uncover any <br />training shortfalls. Bayus will offer, under its personnel development plan, a program that will <br />reveal all personnel deficiencies and seek to rectify the areas which require improvement. In <br />achieving this goal, Bayus intends to provide personnel the following personnel development <br />courses: <br /> <br />. Employee Empowerment <br />. Business Image/Client Image <br />. Interpersonal Communication <br />. Managing Conflicts <br />. Managing Stress <br />. Threat Assessment <br />. Job Safety <br />. Managing Workplace Diversity <br />. Public Relations <br />. Leadership & Performance Management <br /> <br />Bayus will provide personnel a certificate of course completion (certification) upon completion <br />of the above referenced courses. <br /> <br />Officer Training Program <br />Bayus currently has four State licensed Trainers that will conduct the officer training program, <br />using electronic based training activities and interface video and computer aides. The crossing <br />guards will be physically trained by the trainers on use of equipments and assisting of children to <br />cross roads to and from schools, All other training required in the RFP will be implemented. <br /> <br />License <br />All school crossing guards employed by Bayus Security Service, Inc, must be licensed by the <br />state of Florida. This means that they must complete a minimum of hours of training before <br />being issued their crossing guard license by the state. <br /> <br />Classroom Training <br />This is an intense in-house classroom training designed to review the officers understanding of <br />the duties as a school crossing guard, our expectation of him/her while employed with us and the <br /> <br />52 <br />
