<br />General DescriDtion

<br />The proposed park is located at 500 Sunny Isles Boulevard, on a lOW-laying
<br />area adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway,
<br />
<br />The proposed improvements include the removal of the existing asphalt
<br />parking area and installing new paver walkways and landscaping areas for
<br />pedestrian use only. A new wood frame deck and canopy will be constructed
<br />over the existing concrete pads.
<br />
<br />Due to the low elevation of the area, the proximity to the Intracoastal
<br />Waterway and poor ground percolation, the only feasible way to dispose of the
<br />storm water runoff is by means of discharging Into the Intracoastal Waterway,
<br />To this effect 1500/0 of the water quality treatment required volume will be
<br />prOVided with exfiltration trenches.
<br />
<br />Water Qualitv Calculation.

<br />For Water Quality the first inch of runoff from the entire site, or the amount of
<br />2,5 inches times the percentage of imperviousness shall be treated, whichever
<br />is greater.

<br />b, 2,5 inches times the percentage of imperviousness

<br />Pervious / Impervious = Total area-Coverage = 0.37 -0.035 = 0.335 Ac.

<br />Impervious Area for water quality = Pervious / Impervious - Area Pervious
<br />= 0.335 - 0.15 = 0,185
