We will continue to evaluate insurance exposures unique to the City of Sunny <br />Isles Beach as is evidenced by the recent inspection of all City properties on August 10, 2011. <br /> <br />It is the responsibility of Brown & Brown Insurance to offer risk management options to the City <br />Manager and staff to implement the most efficient and practical plan of insurance. Deductibles <br />and other self-insurance options are evaluated and presented based on the City's claim history <br />and budget. <br /> <br />Brown and Brown of Florida - Miami Division will continue negotiate with PGIT and PRU to <br />establish the most competitive premium options that can be made available to the City of Sunny <br />Isles Beacho The excellent working relationship with PGIT, PRU and Brown and Brown of <br />Florida - Miami Division provides for the ability to meet any requested timeline or deadline. In <br />addition, Brown & Brown of Florida - Miami Division also has the highest standard or <br />relationship with the various carriers that provide coverages that not included in the PGIT <br />program such as Flood, City Manager Bond, Accident Medical, Yacht, Plate Glass, Storage Tank <br />Liability and potential Builders' Risk insurance. <br /> <br />Please refer to the enclosed PGIT Municipality Excess-of-Loss Structure outlining the various <br />insurance carriers involved and their respective financial ratings. <br /> <br />Brown & Brown Insurance of Florida - Miami Division will continue to monitor the City's <br />National Council of Compensation Insurance (NCCI) individual experience to implement a <br />"light duty back to work program" limiting workers' compensation claims to medical only status, <br />thus making every effort to avoid the onerous surcharges applied to loss time or "indemnity" <br />claims.
