ORDINANCE NO. 2011--3J.-4 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2010-352; AMENDING THE CITY'S BUDGET FOR THE 2010-2011 FISCAL YEAR; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, in accordance with 99200.065 and 166.241, Florida Statutes and the City Charter, the City Commission adopted the Budget for Fiscal Year 2010-2011 (the "Budget") by Ordinance No. 2010-352; and WHEREAS, the City's Finance Director has determined a need to amend the Budget for unanticipated expenses during Fiscal Year 2010-2011; and WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that it is necessary to amend the Budget, as set forth in Exhibit "A", based upon the review and analysis provided by the Finance Director. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Incorporation of Recitals. The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part by this Ordinance upon adoption hereof. Section 2. Budget Amendment. The Budget for Fiscal Year 2010-2011 adopted by Ordinance No. 2010-352 is amended to reflect the revisions in Exhibit "A". All other terms and conditions of Ordinance No. 2010-352 not otherwise amended by this Ordinance remain in full force and effect. Section 3. Authorization of the City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to take all actions necessary to implement the terms and conditions of this Ordinance. Section 4. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be effective ten (10) days after adoption on second reading. PASSED and ADOPTED on first reading the )~"" day of S~-r: 2011.
