<br />Summary Minutes: Regular City Commission Meeting <br /> <br />July 22,2004 <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach, Rorida <br /> <br />before this Commission in two to three months with plans for Jade North. She said Jade <br />North will be set back at just about the same place as Jade South because they are not <br />going to block the views of their other building with the new building. She said when <br />they put in the Sales Center they are going to be starting construction of North Jade <br />shortly thereafter and that is why they needed the setback closer to the street. <br /> <br />Commissioner Iglesias moved and Vice Mayor Goodman seconded a motion for <br />approval, subject to staff conditions. An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, <br />Amending Section 33-7 A. of the Code of Ethics which has Required Only Disclosure of <br />Personal Investments that Might Create a Conflict, to Now Provide a Prohibition Against <br />Interests in Conflict with Official Duties Provision, Including Unwarranted Privileges; <br />Providing for Dissemination of Such Disclosure by City Clerk; Providing for <br />Disciplinary Action; Providing for Severability; Providing for Repealer; Providing for <br />Inclusion in the Code; Providing for an Effective Date. <br />(First Reading 7/8/04) <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and City Attorney Dannheisser reported noting <br />that it came to her attention by Vice Mayor Goodman that this Ordinance does not contain <br />any time frame within which this prohibition is applicable. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Goodman clarified that the original motion had no time limit and suggested to <br />set it at the time the CO is issued for the building, and asked the Commission for their <br />comments.
