An Ordinance ofthe City Commission ofthe City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Exempting <br />City Commission Elections from the Provisions of Section 101.657, Florida Statutes, <br />Concerning Early Voting; Providing for Severability; Providing for Inclusion in the Code; <br />Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Hines read the title and Mayor Ede1cup said he had one correction on the <br />ordinance, in Section 1, where it says "The City of Sunny Isles Beach is hereby exercising its <br />right to exempt City Commission elections from the provision.. .", he wants to make sure we <br />are talking about local elections, and wants to add the word "local" in there. <br /> <br />Public Speakers: none <br /> <br />Commissioner Goodman moved and Commissioner Iglesias seconded a motion to approve <br />the proposal on first reading, as amended.
