<br />FTE acknowledges that the City requires a consultant with capacity and knowledge to quickly respond and to
<br />r� solve problems related to one or multiple disciplines such as: transportation planning, traffic engineering,
<br />design, and public involvement that may be required to assess any of those services.
<br />FTE's previous work on similar contracts will efficiently convey ideas, perform assessments, as well as, produce
<br />r reports, memorandums and analyses for the City of Sunny Isles Beach that could encompass the following
<br />elements.

<br />As a specialized traffic engineering firm, FTE is proficient in traffic softwares
<br />in
<br />TruTraffic cluding VISSIM, Synchro /Visual Studio, HCS, Transit 7F, CORSIM, ArcGIS, Petra -Pro,
<br />i
<br />t and other Travel -Time and delay packages. Our Experience allows us to „W.W ,C,,,Pa«nA,
<br />identify the appropriate package and incorporate it adequately using elements or
<br />s alternatives to incorporate geo- positioning and constraints in driver behavior,
<br />delays, gap acceptance, speed, queues, maneuvers, and simulation of existing traffic
<br />patterns in the real world.
<br />Among the transportation planning and traffic engineering services FTE will be able
<br />to provide the following products:

<br />Traffic Impact Studies FTE has performed several hundred traffic impact studies
<br />€ following the ITE's "Transportation Impact Analyses for Site Development: An ITE
<br />Proposed Recommended Practice ", the ITE's "Parking Generation" as well as
<br />i Generation User's Guide, and the FDOT's Site Impact Handbook. From the previous
<br />L experience, we clearly understand that the critical requirements for a traffic impact
<br />study which enables the FTE to implement the review of traffic impact studies
<br />r submitted to the City and make recommendations.
<br />I Safety Technical Memorandums FTE has vast experience working in traffic
<br />operation and safety studies. FTE has completed several intersection safety
<br />memorandums and the analysis within Miami Dade County for Miami -Dade Public
<br />I Works, FDOT and MDX. Also, FTE has full access to FDOT CAR database State Roads`
<br />crash data) and is fully familiar with resolving safety concerns. In addition, our staff'' J
<br />is trained to determine discrepancies with the accident data provided by Police
<br />Officers that may require corrections or better examination.
<br />Intersection /Arterial Analysis FTE will provide an in -depth assessment of a
<br />concerned intersection based on an analysis addressing: the impact of geometric' 2
<br />improvements, the existing and future intersection LOS, interval and phasing timing
<br />optimization, new signal timing plans, fuel consumption over benefits like reductions
<br />E in control delay and accident numbers or severity, as well as, community response
<br />among each alternative.
<br />Traffic Simulations FTE has expertise in transit micro - simulation using software such as VISSIM and Cube. In
<br />multiple projects, FTE has incorporated the results of traffic simulation work to form the basis for conclusions
<br />and recommendations to solve a range of transportation problems in such areas as freeway and arterial systems,
<br />grade- separated interchanges, traffic signal operations, maintenance of traffic plans, roundabout intersections,
<br />toll facilities, intelligent transportation systems, and the interface between autos and other travel modes.
<br />Traffic Data Collection In addition to the industry standard data collection equipment, FTE has 10 Miovision
<br />`- Video Collection Units to obtain Turning Movement Counts processed through software automation. The
