<br />aisle may be reduced to 18 feet. All applications for the use of tandem parking <br />must be approved by the City Commission, and the applicant must enter into an <br />agreement, recorded in the public records at the expense of the owner, and shall <br />run with the land and shall bind the heirs, successors, and assigns of said owner, <br />which requires all developments having any tandem parking spaces to provide <br />twenty-four-hour valet parking service. For the purpose of this Chapter, only one <br />of the tandem spaces shall be considered as fulfilling part of the required parking. <br />Notwithstanding any provision in this Chapter, self-parking by unit owners is <br />permitted within non-mechanical parking spaces. Self-parking is prohibited when <br />mechanical parking lifts or any other type of mechanical parking devices are used. <br /> <br />B. Amount of off-street parking. The minimum number of off-street parking spaces to be <br />provided and maintained for each use or occupancy shall be as follows: <br /> <br />Minimum Parking Spaces Required <br />Residential Use <br /> <br />Use <br /> <br />Number of Spaces <br /> <br />Multifamily dwelling <br /> <br />1.5 parking spaces per unit except that a unit <br />with the size of One Thousand Eight <br />Hundred (1800) square feet or greater shall <br />be required to provide 2 parking spaces per <br />unit. <br />For 20 units or more guest parking must be <br />provided equal to a minimum of 5% of the <br />required spaces for buildings without valet <br />parking . <br /> <br />Section 3. Zoning in Progress. The City hereby declares zoning in progress. All applications <br />for development approval filed prior to the date of adoption of this Ordinance and not yet acted <br />upon by the Commission shall be reviewed and approved pursuant to the provisions of this <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 4. Repealer. All ordinances, or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be, and the <br />same, are hereby repealed <br /> <br />Section 5. Severability. The provisions of this Ordinance are declared to be severable and if <br />any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance shall for any reason be held to be invalid <br />or unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining sections, <br />sentences, clause, and phrases of this Ordinance but they shall remain in effect, it being the <br />legislative intent that this Ordinance shall stand notwithstanding the invalidity of any part. <br /> <br />Ordinance Amending Sections 265-46 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />Words underlined are added, words stfi€keH are deleted. <br />
