RESOLUTION NO. 2012 - LB�� <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE FIRST <br />ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT WITH SNACK TIME LLC. <br />CONCESSION SERVICES, INC. TO ADD PELICAN COMMUNITY <br />PARK TO THEIR CONCESSIONAIRE SERVICES FOR THE CITY, <br />IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE SAME FORM ATTACHED HERETO AS <br />EXHIBIT "A "; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID <br />FIRST ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE <br />THIS RESOLUION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City issued and advertised Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 11- 02 -01, for <br />Concessionaire Services for the Samson Oceanfront Park; and <br />WHEREAS, on April 21, 2011 via Resolution No. 2011 -1699, the City Commission awarded <br />RFP 11- 02 -01, and entered into an agreement with Snack Time LLC. Concession Services, Inc. to <br />provide concessionaire services for the Samson Oceanfront Park, in an amount to be paid to the City <br />a flat rate of Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) per month for the first year, and the Contractor's <br />payments to the City shall be renegotiated by the City Manager or his designee upon notice by the <br />City of its option to renew; and <br />WHEREAS, the City now desires to have concessionaire services for Pelican Community <br />Park; and <br />WHEREAS, Snack Time LLC. Concession Services, Inc. has expressed its ability and desire <br />to provide these services; and <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to approve the First Addendum to Agreement with Snack Time <br />LLC. Concession Services, Inc. to provide these services for Pelican Community, in an amount to be <br />paid to the City a flat rate of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) per month, in substantially the <br />same form attached hereto as Exhibit "A ". <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Incorporation of Recitals. The recitals set forth in this resolution are incorporated <br />herein by reference as if fully set forth herein. <br />Section 2. Approve the First Addendum to Agreement. The City Commission hereby approves <br />the First Addendum to Agreement with Snack Time LLC. Concession Services, Inc. to provide <br />Concessionaire Services for Pelican Community Park, in an amount paid to the City of One Hundred <br />Fifty Dollars ($150.00), attached hereto as Exhibit "A ". <br />Section 3. Authorization of Mayor. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said First <br />R2012- Snack Time Concessionaire Srvs Addendum 1 PCP Page 1 of 2 <br />
