None of these are significant to the company's ongoing business operations. <br />In order to protect the privacy of claimants and other parties, it is our corporate policy not to release the <br />names of litigants or details of specific claims. You have requested information regarding claims. Claims <br />which we are defining as lawsuits or demand for arbitration received from clients since December 1, 2005 <br />are as follows: <br /> <br />Florida. In 2005, SCI was named a defendant in a case arising from an automobile colliding with an under <br />construction road improvement. Following settlement by the culpable parties, that case was dismissed. A <br />subsequent claim for water damage from sewer work connected with the project was withdrawn. <br /> <br />International - Israel. In 2005 SCI was named a defendant in an arbitration action by a design builder in <br />connection with cost overruns on a project. SCI has denied involvement in the issues giving rise to the <br />action. The matter was resolved by negotiation. <br /> <br />Arizona. In 2005, SCI received a claim from a developer regarding survey in a flood plain. After <br />investigation the matter was resolved. <br /> <br />Arizona. In 2006 SCI was sued by a client developer in a matter that is essentially a fee dispute. The <br />developer subsequently went bankrupt and the various claims and cross claims were negotiated in a <br />bankruptcy court settlement. <br /> <br />Florida. In 2006, SCI was named as a defendant as a result of damage from wind damage to a sports <br />stadium. SCI did not design the equipment that failed and the matter has been dismissed. <br /> <br />} Iowa. In 2007, SCI was named in a claim by a subcontractor for extra fees on a sewer/pump station project. <br />After investigation the matter was resolved. <br /> <br />Arizona. In 2007 SCI made a claim against a land developer for fees and received a counterclaim for <br />damages caused by survey error. The matter has been resolved. <br /> <br />Kentucky. In 2008 SCI was named a third party defendant by a utility client that had been sued by a <br />contractor for increased costs due to its error in locating a building structure. SCI has denied responsibility <br />and after negotiation, the various parties resolved the matter. <br /> <br />California. In 2010, SCI named as a defendant by a real estate developer on a project in Nevada. SCI <br />denied liability. The matter has been dismissed and refilled in Arizona where it is still pending. <br /> <br />Jamaica. In 2010 SCI was named as a defendant in a pending case involving a hotel whose fresh water <br />supply was contaminated when construction allegedly broke a water main. SCI was involved in construction <br />administration on an adjacent road project, the damage was likely done by a contractor working on a <br />separate water line project.
