Throughout this time, AECOM has provided
professional services to Miami-Dade County for trail and greenway planning, park and open space
system planning, transportation planning and landscape architecture. Their work has been
responsive and dedicated in providing Miami-Dade County a product that meets the scope for
each specific purpose.

Two examples projects by AECOM include trail and park planning projects which are both major
initiatives to implementation of the Miami-Dade County Parks and Open Spaces System Master
Plan by AECOM (formerly Glatting Jackson). The Miami-Dade County Trail Design Guidelines and
Standards: Ludlam Trail Case Study is a two part project with goals of corridor specific design
guidelines for Ludlam Trail and County-wide general design guidelines and standards which are to
be implemented throughout the County's 500+ mile trail and greenway network. The second
example is a park planning project at Haulover Park, one of seven Miami-Dade County Heritage
Parks, and serves as an exemplary model of park planning and transportation planning responding
as one.

Throughout the years of working with AECOM, they have routinely responded to all of our requests
for action and deliverables in a professional and courteous manner. It is without hesitation I can
recommend them to any organization, public or private, for professional trail and greenway
planning, park and open space system planning, transportation planning and landscape
architecture.

Joseph Webb, RLA
Park System Planning Section Supervisor

~COM

City of Sunny Isles Beach I Design & Permitting Services of the Intracoastal Parks RFO No, 12-04-04

117
