Calderon, PE, PTOE, PTP is extremely pleased to submit his Reques_T'"fCy0 <br />Qualifications response to the City of Sunny Isles Beach. From the five categories offered <br />under the Request for Qualifications Mr. Calderon is offering his qualifications only for the <br />Traffic Engineering & Transportation Consulting Services. <br />Mr. Calderon is a specialized in traffic and highway analysis, traffic data collection, <br />inventories, GIS, parking studies, signal traffic warrants, traffic operations and transportation <br />special studies. He has being involved in transportation and traffic contracts on FDOT <br />District 4 and 6 providing similar services to those required by the City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />Contract. Mr. Calderon is intimately familiar with transportation projects that involve urban <br />planning, traffic calming, traffic safety studies PD &E, and transit. He is also specialized in <br />mapping using Geographic Information System (GIS) platforms, and roadway design software <br />such as MicroStation and AutoCAD. <br />Mr. Calderon is the qualifier for Caltran Engineering Group, Inc. (CALTRAN), a new <br />company that is already certified by DOT and Miami -Dade County to offer services such as: <br />Minor Highway Design; Traffic Engineering Studies; Traffic Signal Timing; Signing, <br />Pavement Marking and Channelization; Signalization; Systems Planning; Subarea/Corridor <br />Planning; Traffic Calming; and Transportation Statistics. <br />Mr. Calderon has recent experience in serving the residents of City of Sunny Isles Beach by <br />providing the Sunny Isles Daycare in Winston Towers with a Traffic Impact Study that <br />analyzed the impacts to change the use of a store -front to allow variance of a new daycare <br />considering the new population trends within the City. <br />Mr. Calderon with over 13 years of experience associated with a wide range of traffic and <br />transportation projects has the leadership, knowledge, and capabilities to promptly respond to <br />the City of Sunny Isles Beach Project Manager in all areas under this contract.
