<br /> <br />RFQ #12‐06‐01, Construction Management Services for Gateway Park Page 2| 2 <br />Streets <br />CGA’s roadway design experience ranges from small, two‐lane <br />residential roadways to large multi‐lane highways and interstates. We <br />work with the FDOT on re‐grading, striping, drainage improvements, <br />implementation of ADA requirements, turn‐lane additions, widening, <br />and median modifications, and public information/participation. <br />We have designed streetscape improvements with a particular <br />attention to pedestrian safety for such municipalities as the Cities of <br />Doral and Weston, and the Town of Bay Harbor Islands. <br />In additions, we have designed and permitted parking improvements <br />such as the Dania Beach Park N Go, and the parking fields for <br />Pembroke Lakes Square, Pembroke Gardens. Specifically, in terms of <br />roadway/streetscape related services we include; <br /> Roadway Engineering Design & Permitting Design of Traffic Calming Measures <br /> Corridor Studies Pavement Marking & Signage <br /> Intergovernmental Agency Coordination Parking Supply & Demand Analysis <br /> Roadway Beautification Projects Emergency Evacuation Studies & Planning <br /> Conceptual Engineering & Design <br />Alternatives Analysis <br /> Major Roadway Improvements Design and <br />Permitting <br /> Roadway Drainage Design & Permitting Utility Relocation Design & Coordination <br /> Roadway Lighting Design Neighborhood Improvement Projects <br /> Parking Lot Design Milling & resurfacing projects <br />Civil Engineering for Parks and Recreational Facilities <br />Calvin Giordano & Associates, Inc. (CGA) has performed engineering services for a number of parks <br />throughout South Florida. This has involved the design of drainage and under‐drain systems, grading of <br />sports fields, parking lot/pedestrian/sports field lighting, the design of parking lots, the extension of <br />utilities to new or renovated structures, and the overall storm water management system design and <br />permitting. <br />Some of the parks in which CGA’s engineering have been involved include; Tequesta Trace Park, Eagle Point <br />Park, Overtown Park, Weston Regional Park, Cooper City Sports Complex, Bay Harbor Islands 92nd Street <br />Park, 5th Avenue Linear Park, and many others. <br />Civil Engineering for Facilities <br />CGA has provided civil engineering services for many municipal sites including city halls, public works <br />compounds, community centers, city garages and other city structures. This includes the design of paving, <br />grading, and drainage, water & sewer, pavement marking & signage, storm water pollution prevention <br />plans and offsite roadway improvements among others. We have brought these designs from the <br />preliminary stages through the permitting, construction, and certification process for a number of <br />governmental clients. <br />Water and Sewer <br />CGA provides professionals who have experience in all aspects of water distribution, water re‐use main, <br />wastewater collection/transmission main, and lift station design, permitting, and construction, as well as <br />system evaluation, and analysis. <br />
