r Gateway Park Construction Management Services RFQ12 -06 -01 Fire Station #3, #29 & #49, City of Ft Lauderdale, FL: CIMA provided Construction Management service on the projects to the City of Ft Lauderdale, overseeing the daily construction operations and managing both the Contractor and the Architect to ensure completion in a timely and cost - effective manner while achieving a quality product. CIMA's construction management services included daily inspections, resolution of project issues, processing of all RFI's and submittals, construction schedule and payment requisition reviews, Owner /Architect /Contractor meetings, and daily communication with City staff to ensure effective communication on the project. CIMA also was tasked to perform pre- construction and post - construction activities including temporary relocation of facilities, demolition of existing structures, plan and contract review, coordination with all utilities providing services, coordination of permitting, warranty submittal review, review of claims, and submittal of all project files including as -built drawings. CIMA's performance on these projects resulted in all three stations being completed on time and under the original allocated budget. Marina Grande on the Halifax, Daytona Beach, FL: The project's planned scope consisted of a planned unit development (PUD) of four twenty -five story residential towers with 972 luxury units in total, two four -story parking garages with 1,500 total spaces, 17,000 square feet of retail space, and 10,000 square feet of clubhouse /amenity space. The project's design sought to capture the essence of the high - profile waterfront location by implementing nautical design features such as a specialty designed entrance with a bridge element over a water feature. The project also was designed with a luxury marina along the Halifax River as well as a public park along the south end of the site with a pier and overlook gazebo. Responsibilities on the project were as the Project Designer and Project Manager for all phases of the project from design and permitting through construction administration as well as Interior Design for the tower's common areas.
