Y or sun ^' <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />18070 Collins Avenue <br />Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160 <br />(305) 947 -0606 City Hall <br />(305) 949 -3113 Fax <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: <br />The Honorable Mayor and City Commission <br />FROM: <br />Susan Simpson, Cultural and Community Services Director <br />DATE: <br />6/21/2012 <br />RE: <br />Agreement with Logistics Management Group <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />It is recommended that the City Commission approve the attached resolution to amend <br />the agreement with Logistics Management Group for Jazz Fest 2012 in an amount not to <br />exceed Sixty Five Thousand Dollars ($65,000.00). <br />REASONS: <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach entered into an agreement with Logistics Management <br />Group to produce Jazz Fest 2011 with renewals. At this time, the City wishes to exercise <br />the first year renewal of the agreement for the production services of Jazz Fest 2012 with <br />the attached first amendment. <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br />This agreement includes the payment for the national entertainment. Jazz Fest is a three <br />day event with the concert at Heritage Park on Saturday, October 13, 2102 as the main <br />event featuring David Benoit. City Staff will recruit sponsors and apply for grants to help <br />defray the cost of the event as well as ticket sales for the Saturday night concert. <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br />The expenditures will be incurred in fiscal year 2012/2013.
