Annual Report on the "State of the City" by Mayor Norman S. Edelcup. <br />Action: Mayor Edelcup read the State of the City Address. He noted that the City continues <br />to be very secure and financially strong. <br />5B. Presentation by Mayor Norman S. Edelcup to Harvey and Sylvia Busch upon Winning the <br />"Senior Citizens Couple of the Year" Award from the City Advisory Committee. <br />Action: Mayor Edelcup presented Sunny Isles Beach Gift Bags /Watches to Harvey and <br />Sylvia Busch, upon winning the "Senior Citizens Couple of the Year ". <br />5C. A Proclamation to be Presented by Mayor Norman S. Edelcup to Charles Wachsberg. <br />Action: Mayor Edelcup presented a Proclamation and Sunny Isles Beach Gift Bags to <br />Charles and Anne Wachsberg as they are moving to Houston, Texas. <br />6. ORDINANCES FOR SECOND READING (Public Hearings) <br />Sitting in as the Local Planning Agency and the City Commission, to Consider the <br />Following Ordinances Amending the Land Development Regulations (LDRs): <br />9A.1 A Resolution of the Local Planning Agency of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, <br />Recommending to the City Commission of Sunny Isles Beach, the Ordinance Amending <br />Section 265 -44 of the City Code to Impose Occupancy Restrictions in Single Family Zoning <br />Districts, Attached as Exhibit "A "; Providing for an Effective Date. <br />Action: City Clerk Hines read the title. <br />Public Speakers: none <br />Vice Mayor Thaler moved and Commissioner Scholl seconded a motion to approve the <br />resolution.
