Action: Mayor Edelcup read the State of the City Address. He noted that the City continues to be very secure and financially strong. 5B. Presentation by Mayor Norman S. Edelcup to Harvey and Sylvia Busch upon Winning the "Senior Citizens Couple of the Year" Award from the City Advisory Committee. Action: Mayor Edelcup presented Sunny Isles Beach Gift Bags /Watches to Harvey and Sylvia Busch, upon winning the "Senior Citizens Couple of the Year ". 5C. A Proclamation to be Presented by Mayor Norman S. Edelcup to Charles Wachsberg. Action: Mayor Edelcup presented a Proclamation and Sunny Isles Beach Gift Bags to Charles and Anne Wachsberg as they are moving to Houston, Texas. 6. ZONING None 7. ORDINANCES FOR SECOND READING (Public Hearings) Sitting in as the Local Planning Agency and the City Commission, to Consider the Following Ordinances Amending the Land Development Regulations (LDRs): 9A.1 A Resolution of the Local Planning Agency of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Recommending to the City Commission of Sunny Isles Beach, the Ordinance Amending Section 265 -44 of the City Code to Impose Occupancy Restrictions in Single Family Zoning Districts, Attached as Exhibit "A "; Providing for an Effective Date. Action: City Clerk Hines read the title. Public Speakers: none Vice Mayor Thaler moved and Commissioner Scholl seconded a motion to approve the resolution. LPA Resolution No. 2010 -60 was adopted by a voice vote of 5 -0 in favor. 9A.2 An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Amending Section 265 -44 of the Land Development Regulations to Impose Occupancy Restrictions in Single Family Zoning Districts; Providing for Severability; Providing for Repealer; Providing for Inclusion in the Code; Providing for an Effective Date.
