RESOLUTION NO. 17-Z- ( o3 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br /> SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, ("CITY") APPROVING A <br /> VARIANCE TO CONSTRUCT AN ADDITIONAL MONUMENT <br /> SIGN FOR THE ACQUALINA OCEAN RESIDENCES & RESORT; <br /> PROVIDING THE CITY MANAGER WITH THE AUTHORITY TO <br /> DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS <br /> RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING <br /> FOR REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> I. RECITALS <br /> WHEREAS, Acqualina Management, LLC (the "Applicant") is seeking approval to <br /> construct an additional monument sign on the parcel where one(1)monument sign is the maximum <br /> number allowed per parcel, and has submitted a variance application (Application No. PZ2017- <br /> 02) to the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida requesting the following: <br /> 1. Pursuant to Sections 265-63.1 of the City of Sunny Isles Beach Land Development <br /> Regulations, the Applicant is requesting a variance for an additional monument sign where <br /> one (1) monument sign is the maximum number allowed per parcel per Section 265.56 (A) <br /> of the City of Sunny Isles Beach Land Development Regulations. <br /> Legal Description: ACQUALINA OCEAN RESIDENCES & RESORT CONDO <br /> GULF STREAM PARK PB 35-51 N4OFT OF TR A&B LESS R/W <br /> & LOTS 1 THRU 4 BLK 9 OF SUNNY ISLES SHORES SEC B <br /> PB 65-47 AS DESC IN DECL OR 24246-3383 LOT SIZE 226272 <br /> SQ FT FAU 31 2211 003 0020 <br /> ADDRESS: 17875 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br /> FOLIO: 31-2211-071-0001 <br /> WHEREAS, on February 16, 2017, the City Commission conducted a public hearing on <br /> this variance application; and <br /> WHEREAS, the public hearing of the City Commission was advertised and held as <br /> required by law, all interested parties concerned in the matter were heard, and due and proper <br /> consideration was given to the matter and to the positive recommendation contained in the City's <br /> Community Development Department Review Report; and <br /> WHEREAS, notice was provided to all interested parties regarding the variance <br /> application; and <br /> 17-Z-1(03 Additional Monument Sign 1 <br />
