We have carefully reviewed the requirements and have responded with a complete solution that addresses all aspects of an efficient ALPR system. L-3 Mobile-Vision has provided in-car equipment to law enforcement agencies for over 25 years. We have the financial resources, engineering capabilities, support structure and knowledge to help the City implement the most advanced ALPR system available. We have provided equipment to many agencies throughout the world, including, but not limited to the: Tampa Police Department, FL; Tucson, AZ Police Department; New Orleans, LA Police Department; Shreveport, LA Police Department and the Orange County, CA Sheriffs Department. We can provide a level of support and service to the City that other manufacturers and resellers simply can or will not. Arguably more important than the fact that we have been in the law enforcement equipment industry longer than most of our competitors, and perhaps more relative to today's economic situation, is the fact that we have the financial resources to provide the City with service and support not only now, but in the future. We understand that the City will perform its due diligence to ensure its investment is made with a company that is the strongest in the industry. The deliverables proposed include our AIertVU fixed ALPR System. The AlertVu system provides: • The L3 Camera has the proven unique ability to read the difficult Florida plates accurately at the required ranges and angles. It is enclosed in milled metal housing, nitrogen sealed and robust.
