Qualifications <br /> Sunny Isles Beach ALPR RFP 9-27-2012 <br /> 1 BACK OFFICE: Description: Back Office solution provides a seamless COMPLY <br /> automatic management/interface point for the systems (meaning that all <br /> updating/communications are performed through a single central server) <br /> but also facilitates the simple query of the collected data through any LAN <br /> connected PC. All data will be forwarded live from the remote cameras to <br /> the back office server. Server will be provided by the awarded proposer. <br /> 2 System shall provide the ability to continuously and automatically scan, COMPLY <br /> capture, store, display, process and interpret images of license plates <br /> within range of the equipment without any action by the patrol officer. This <br /> means that the system shall continue to operate in the background when <br /> the operator is dealing with any 'alarm' or other function of the system. <br /> The system shall capture and store the following data for any and all <br /> license plates scanned: vehicle license plate image (infrared), interpreted <br /> license plate number, color license plate image, color overview of the <br /> identified vehicle, date stamp, time stamp, GPS location of vehicle, type <br /> of offense or database (if a match or hit occurs against one of the target <br /> databases containing vehicles of interest), this data shall be stored in an <br /> encrypted format. <br /> 3 System shall be capable of reading license plates from all cameras COMPLY <br /> simultaneously. Vendor will provide all the necessary software, equipment <br /> and infrastructure to monitor vehicle traffic. <br /> 4 System shall be capable of simultaneously reading images from all COMPLY <br /> camera combination of color and infra red cameras. It is envisaged that a <br /> combination of camera types, will be required to capture plates that are <br /> not visible to IR cameras through oxidation, plate covers or criminal <br /> counter-measures. <br /> 5 System shall have the ability to accurately read Florida license plates COMPLY(L3 is <br /> from a mounted position of 36+ feet off the centerline of the target lane uniquely differentiated <br /> with an overall read angle range in excess of 65 feet. on this item) <br /> 6 System shall provide ability to process or match the captured license COMPLY <br /> plate numbers against a variety of target databases containing vehicles of <br /> interest(i.e. stolen, wanted, amber alerts, terrorist, suspicious, general <br /> broadcast, sex offender, etc). <br /> 7 System shall provide the ability to both audibly and visually signal or COMPLY <br /> alarm the dispatch center and the patrol officer when a particular type of <br /> match or hit occurs via interface with the current standard computer in the <br /> patrol vehicle. Provide additional data and an overall context of the <br /> scanned vehicles rather than just the license plate, enabling quick <br /> recognition of the matched vehicle by an officer as well as additional data <br /> for further analysis at a later time. <br /> 8 System shall interpret and report only one license per scanned plate.
