• RESOLUTION NO. 2017- 261 I A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE UNIFORM SIGN PLAN SUBMITTED BY KEY INTERNATIONAL AND PREPARED BY GRAPHPLEX SIGNS FOR THE 400 SUNNY ISLES PROJECT LOCATED AT 400 SUNNY ISLES BOULEVARD; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on February 16, 2006 via Ordinance No. 2006-244 the City established a requirement for multi-tenant centers to submit a uniform sign plan for the approval of the City Commission; and WHEREAS, the 400 Sunny Isles Boulevard project obtained a site plan approval pursuant to Zoning Resolution No. 12-Z-130, adopted on September 20, 2012 and the signage section was subject to the Uniform Sign Plan Requirements as stipulated under Section of the City Code 265-58 (J); and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Department has reviewed the submitted sign plans and finds the plans to be in compliance with the Sign Code Section 265-58 (J). NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approval of Uniform Sign Plan. The City Commission hereby approves the Uniform Sign Plan prepared by Graphplex Signs received on February 2, 2017 by the Planning and Zoning Department for the multi-tenant commercial spaces located at 400 Sunny Isles Boulevard, as modified at the Commission meeting, attached hereto as Exhibit "A". Section 2. Authorization of City Manager and City Attorney. The City Manager and City Attorney are hereby authorized to do all things necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution. Section 3.
