Summary Minutes:Regular City Commission Meeting September 20,2012 City of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida <br /> However, at the same time, we have had requests from developers whose building needs <br /> closure and makes a submittal request to the City but if the applicant cannot determine the <br /> number, this issue can be revisited at a future date. Let's deal with the main issue of <br /> application the Declaration of Restriction will require because it will take this applicant, in <br /> terms of the baywalk just like any applicant, the same condition will apply and there will be <br /> no closure. Commissioner Scholl said his motion is on the table, and Mayor Edelcup asked <br /> for a vote. <br /> Commissioner Scholl moved and Commissioner Gatto seconded a motion for approval, <br /> subject to staff conditions. An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida,Amending <br /> Chapter 68 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Sunny Isles Beach to Provide a <br /> S6,000.00 Fixed Expense Account per Fiscal Year for the Reimbursement of Expenses <br /> Incurred in the Performance of Official City Business; Providing for Repealer;Providing <br /> for Severability; Providing for Inclusion in the Code; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and City Attorney Ottinot reported that the elected <br /> officials will get an allocation of $6,000, the purpose being that they can use it without <br /> saving receipts in Miami-Dade,Broward and Palm Beach Counties. This Ordinance will not <br /> apply to those expenses that occurred outside of these three Counties. <br /> Public Speakers: None <br /> Commissioner Aelion moved and Commissioner Gatto seconded a motion to approve the <br /> proposed ordinance on first reading. The motion was approved by a roll call vote of 4- <br /> 1 (Commissioner Scholl against) in favor.
