SECTION 01050 <br /> FIELD ENGINEERING <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> 1.01 WORK INCLUDED <br /> A. Provide and pay for field engineering services required for Project as follows: <br /> 1. Land Surveying work required to lay out the work, execution of the <br /> structures, and providing As-Built Drawings. <br /> 2. Civil, structural or other professional engineering services specified, or <br /> required to execute the Contractor's construction methods. <br /> B. The Contractor shall retain the services of a registered land surveyor licensed in <br /> the State of Florida to identify existing control points and property line corner <br /> stakes indicated on the Drawings, as required. Verify all existing structure <br /> locations and all proposed building corner locations, tank locations and <br /> equipment locations. Provide as-built location and elevation of pipes, valves, and <br /> connectors. <br /> 1.02 RELATED WORK <br /> A. Section 01010: Summary of Work. <br /> B. Section 01720: Project Record Documents. <br /> C. Section 01152: Application for Payment <br /> 1.03 QUALIFICATIONS OF PROFESSIONAL <br /> A. Qualified Registered Land Surveyor, acceptable to the Owner and the Engineer. <br /> B. Registered professional engineer of the specialty required for the specific service <br /> on the Project, currently licensed in the State of Florida. <br /> 1.04 SURVEY REFERENCE POINTS <br /> A. Horizontal and vertical control points for the Project are to be established by the <br /> Contractor. <br /> B. Locate and protect control points prior to starting work, and preserve all <br /> permanent reference points during construction. <br /> 1. Make no changes or relocations without prior written notice to the <br /> Engineer. <br /> 2. Report to the Engineer when any reference point is lost or destroyed, or <br /> requires relocation because of necessary changes in grades or locations. <br /> 08/12 01050-1 11-4179 <br />
