Addendum No.10  <br />CONSTRUCTION OF THE NORTH BAY ROAD PEDESTRIAN EMERGENCY BRIDGE  <br />CITY RFP NO. 14‐09‐01  <br />  <br />  <br />  <br />4  <br />  <br />  <br />space for maintenance of project drawings and records and at a minimum a <br />suitably sized conference table and sufficient chairs for up to five (5) persons in <br />addition to contractor staff. The overall area is to be secured as needed with <br />perimeter fence and screening and be kept in a neat and orderly manner at all <br />times. The exact limits of this area shall be coordinated upon mobilization to <br />address needed access for a contractor who may be under construction of <br />drainage improvements in NE 174 Street and a portion of North Bay Road. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Q12: The MSE Wall Plans on BW-2, show the begin south MSE wall station as <br />21+29.73, and BW-3 show end north MSE wall at stations 24+90+00 and <br />25+00+00. This does not match the roadway plans which show south MSE wall <br />limits at stations 20+34.17 and 20+60.14, and north MSE wall limits at 26+23.96. <br />Please clarify which is correct. Please clarify which is correct. <br /> <br />A12: The limits of the MSE wall shown on the Roadway and Bridge Drawings have <br />been revised, please see the attached plan sheets. <br /> <br /> <br />Q13: The bridge plan B-5, show variable height median barrier wall beyond the <br />MSE wall limits per FDOT index 410. This index allows a four foot maximum height <br />differential which will be exceeded per the elevations shown on plan sheets BW-2 <br />and BW-3. Please clarify whether this index will be allowed for height differentials <br />exceeding four feet. <br /> <br />A13: The limits of the wall have been revised so that no portion exceeds four (4) <br />feet in height. See revised plan sheets. <br /> <br /> <br />Q14: Plan sheet B-4 requires an ADA rail on one bridge barrier, the ADA rail is <br />not shown on the approach slab plan (see B-68) or on the roadway cross <br />sections. Please clarify that the ADA rail is only on the bridge. <br /> <br />A14: In addition to the bridge barrier, railings are required for the Approach Slab <br />& MSE Walls that shall terminate at an appropriate location above adjacent grade. <br /> <br />
