Addendum 11 CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH CONSTRUCTION OF THE NORTH BAY ROAD PEDESTRIAN EMERGENCY BRIDGE CITY RFP NO. 14-09-01 To All Bidders: Bidders for the above referenced project shall take note of the following changes, additions, deletions, clarifications, etc. to the Plans and Specifications, which in accordance with the Contract Documents shall become a part of and have precedence over anything shown or described otherwise.  Questions/Clarifications: Q1: I called the building department to find out the permit fees and Mr. Walker told me those plans have not been revised by the city yet and that the permit fees would be around $ 140,000.00 dollars. As you can see that is a considerable amount and I would like to be sure before I include it in my bid. Other jobs we have bid in the past have had a line item with a fixed amount so that all contractors will have the same amount for permits. This project does not require a permit from the City of Sunny Isles Beach Building Department. There are no City permit fees for this project. Q2: On the revised bid item list the Clearing and Grubbing item has 0 AC quantity vs 0.25 AC in the previous list. Is this right or was a mistake. The correct quantity for Table 1 – Major Item Schedule of Values, Item 3 Clearing and Grubbing is 0.25 Acres. Q3: We found two different forms for the bid bond, one in the Sunny Isles specs and another one in the Calvin Giordano specs. The bid bond shall be in the form included in the City of Sunny Isles Beach specifications. Q4: Also there is a bid submittal section 6 in the Sunny Isles Specs and another section for bid submittal in Calving Giordano Specs (Section 00300). Please clarify which one we have to follow if not both. The information required in both the City of Sunny Isles Beach RFP and the Calvin Giordano Specs must be included. END OF SECTION
