Thursday, June 22, 2017 <br />5. 2.7 / contractors employees and required identification – does the criminal <br />background check include E-Verification, which stats each employee is legal to <br /> work in the united states? <br />The City’s background check is performed by an outside agency that includes <br />each employees eligibility to work in the United States as well as criminal history <br />through fingerprinting. <br /> <br />6. 2.14.3 / working hours identified as 7am-5pm – is the work to be accomplished <br />within this window? or is this the specific hours that the employees are expected <br />to work? <br />These hours are provided as a guideline of a range of regular work hours, no <br />earlier than 7:00 a.m., understanding it will not be a full 10 hours daily. <br />However, it is expected that the contractor will schedule staff accordingly to meet <br />the quality specifications of the bid. <br /> <br />7. 2.4 & 2.3 / if contractors services are reduced does contractor have the right to <br />reduce manpower accordingly? <br />Yes providing that the contractor is meeting the quality specifications of the bid. <br /> <br />8. Is the contractor reimbursed for any permits required <br />should they be asked to trim mangroves? <br />Yes, a subcontractor may be used.
