CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS The meeting was called to order by Mayor Scholl at 6:30 p.m. with the following officials present: Mayor George "Bud" Scholl City Attorney Hans Ottinot Vice Mayor Dana Goldman City Clerk Mauricio Betancur, CMC Commissioner Isaac Aelion Deputy City Manager Stan Morris Commissioner Jeanette Gatto Deputy City Attorney Fernando Amuchastegui Commissioner Larisa Svechin 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE /INVOCATION Action: James Williams led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and Police Chief Fred Maas gave the invocation. 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 3A. Regular City Commission Meeting—November 16, 2017. Action: Vice Mayor Goldman moved and Commissioner Svechin seconded a motion to approve the above mentioned Summary Minutes. The motion was approved by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. 4. ORDER OF BUSINESS (Additions/Deletions/Amendments) Add On: Item 10L—Resolution Update to the Title VI Program Plan for Community Shuttle Service; Add On: Item 10M—Agreement with Calvin, Giordano and Associates to Provide Inspections Services for the Streetlight Project. Action: Vice Mayor Goldman moMed and Commissioner Gatto seconded a motion to approve the above mentioned changes to the agenda. The motion was approved by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. 5. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS 5A. Certificates of Appreciation presented to the Norman S. Edelcup/Sunny Isles Beach K- 8 School Girls' Volleyball Team by Commissioner Svechin. 5B. Update on the Winston Tower Fire and Recommended Evacuation Plan by Miami- Dade County Fire Chief.
