Contractor's employees must not sleep or lay down In public view at any time during the <br />Work. If any of Contractor's employees are found sleeping or laying down in public vi=w by City <br />staff, or If such activity is reported by the public and verifi;d by the City, the City may impose a <br />performanc.- penalty of $250 per occurrEnce aSSessed to the Contractor. <br />2.24 BACKGROUND CHUX5 <br />ThE Successful Firm will be responsible for hiring the necessary personnel to conduR the specified <br />services and will comply with all federal, state, and local laws related to minimum wage_ social <br />security, nondiscrimination, Americans with D6abilities Act (" ADP%' }, unemployment compensation_ <br />and workers' compensation. All staff assigned to this conuaLT shall be required_ at. their sole cosi <br />and expense, to pass a criminal background check paor to award of the contraR raciiiLated Dy <br />the City of Sunny Iles Beach.
