<br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH SECTION 02762 - 5 <br />TELEVISING STORM SEWER SYSTEMS <br /> <br />9. The monitor and software shall also be able to capture and save screen <br />images of typical sewer details and all defects. Screen images shall be <br />embedded into the pipe inspection report document submitted with the <br />inspection video. <br /> <br />10. The video camera shall be capable of displaying on screen data as <br />specified in paragraph 3.08 herein. <br /> <br />11. Depth gage: The camera shall have a depth gage or approved method to <br />measure deflection in the pipe and joint separation approved by the Owner. <br /> <br />12. The camera shall have zoom capabilities to be able to view the entire depth <br />of a 20-foot deep manhole from the bottom during inspection. <br /> <br />B. Lateral Video Camera <br /> <br />Lateral cameras may be push type or launched from the sewer main line. Lateral <br />cameras shall be color, shall be self-leveling, and equipped with a footage counter <br />to provide on- screen display of footage measurement. Monitor resolution shall be <br />as specified above in paragraph 2.01 A Close Circuit Television Camera or <br />approved equal. <br /> <br />C. Video Capture System <br /> <br />The video and audio recordings of the sewer inspections shall be made using digital <br />video equipment. A video enhancer may be used in conjunction with, but not in lieu <br />of, the required equipment. The digital recording equipment shall capture sewer <br />inspection on DVD disks or hard drive, with each sewer reach inspection recorded as <br />an individual movie file (.MPEG, .MPG, or .WMV) or approved equal. The video files <br />will be named in accordance with the Owner file naming convention contained in <br />paragraph 3.11 herein. <br /> <br />1. The video file names will be referenced in the inspection database and in an <br />inspection report generated in PDF format. The pipeline collection and real <br />time video capture and data acquisition systems shall be provided. <br /> <br />2. The system shall use the most current PACP compliant application software <br />and shall be fully object oriented or approved equal. It shall be capable of <br />printing pipeline inspection reports with captured images of defects or other <br />related significant visual information on a standard color printer. <br /> <br />3.
