CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor Samson at 5:07 p.m., with the following officials <br /> present: <br /> Mayor David Samson <br /> Vice Mayor Connie Morrow <br /> Commissioner Danny Iglesias <br /> Commissioner Lila Kauffman <br /> Commissioner Irving Turetsky <br /> City Manager Christopher J. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND INVOCATION <br /> Action: Richard Brown-Morilla led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> 3. ORDINANCE FOR SECOND READING <br /> 3A. Comprehensive Plan Ordinance (Public Hearing) <br /> An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Adopting <br /> the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Comprehensive Plan Attached as Exhibit "A" <br /> Pursuant to the Provisions of Section 163.3161, Florida Statutes, Known as the Local <br /> Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation Act;Providing for <br /> Transmittal and Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> Action: City Clerk Brown-Morilla read the title and Community Planning and Development <br /> Director Marla Dumas presented her report, noting the two revisions that were made during <br /> the first reading/public hearing on September 21, 2000: (1) Addition of Policy 16F under <br /> Objective 16 of the Future Land Use Element regarding approvals not specifically depicted <br /> on the Future Land Use Map. Included as part of the memorandum as Attachment#A-1 is a <br /> copy of this policy; (2) Revision of Policy 5C under Objective 5-Greenway, Pedestrian, <br /> Bicycle Connections of the Transportation Element. Included as part of the memorandum as <br /> Attachment #A-2 is a copy of this revised policy. <br />
