Summary Minutes:Regular City Commission Meeting June 19,2003 City of Sunny Isles Beach.Florida <br /> Commissioner Iglesias moved and Commissioner Kauffman seconded a motion to hear <br /> Items 9A,8B,8B1,8B2, 8B3,and then 6A.The motion was approved by a voice vote <br /> of 5-0 in favor. Commissioner Goodman moved and Commissioner Kauffman seconded <br /> a motion to defer 7A. The motion was approved by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> 5. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br /> 5A. Certificates of Appreciation to be Presented to Bike Rodeo Event Sponsors. <br /> Action: Susan Simpson, Cultural and Human Services Director, reported and <br /> Commissioner Goodman presented the Certificates to IDS Telcom for donating$500.00 <br /> to the City's First Bike Rodeo held on May 11, 2002; and Lt. Feisthammel accepted the <br /> Certificate on behalf of Chief Maas and the Sunny Isles Beach Police Department for <br /> their financial support of the City's Second Bike Rodeo held on May 17, 2003; and a <br /> Certificate of Appreciation was presented to each member of the Committee for their <br /> support for the last two years: Janet Cini, Loretta de Vries, Irving Diamond, Mary Ann <br /> Eicke, Lee Liebman, and Gene Sweed (Lewis Sayre, FDOT, was not in attendance). <br /> Commissioner Goodman thanked Susan Simpson for her assistance. <br /> 5B.
