<br /> ® Award to any given subcontractor will be contingent upon the provision of basic company information,
<br /> current licensing,' as required, and the verification of current insurance information (general liability,
<br /> automobile, and workers compensation). Other factors may include capacity, capability, experience, and
<br /> abilities of the firm. The Subcontract Manager can provide direction and assistance to any such firms not
<br /> readily meeting all of the required or desired business elements in an effort to assist the firm in overcoming
<br /> such obstacles.
<br /> 4. Records of internal guidance and encouragement provided to acquisition personnel through
<br /> workshops, seminars, training programs, incentive awards, and monitoring to evaluate compliance with the
<br /> programs requirements.
<br /> Past Performance
<br /> On USACE projects performed by Ceres, in Puerto Rico during the 1998 and 1999 hurricane seasons
<br /> (Hurricane George), 100% of all subcontracting dollars went to locally-based Small and various
<br /> Disadvantaged Business concerns. Additionally, on USAGE projects performed in Louisiana in response
<br /> to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, 59.5% of subcontracted dollars went to local businesses and 76.1% of the
<br /> dollars subcontracted to small business went to local small businesses. While utilizing 1,619 vendors and
<br /> subcontractors, Ceres exceeded all of its subcontracting goals of USACE contract number W912P8-D-05-
<br /> 0024. During Ceres' the Alabama tornados response in 2011, Ceres used over 80% local and minority
<br /> subcontractors to complete various projects.
<br /> During the performance of the above mentioned contracts Ceres successfully utilized several hundred local
<br /> SB and SDB firms, and was able to exceed the proposed award goals for SB, SDB, WOSB, VO, SDVO,
<br /> and HUBZone firms. Numerous other government projects have been completed by Ceres over the course
<br /> of the past 25 years with successful utilization (meeting or exceeding established goals) of local and other
<br /> Small Businesses, SDBs, WOSBs, VOs, SDVOs and HUBZone small businesses.
<br /> Based on our historically successful contract performance and utilization goals, Ceres anticipates that the
<br /> completion of work under this contract for City of Sunny Isles Beach will also be successful in meeting,
<br /> 411 minimally, the stated goals contained within this plan.
