BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />Hillers Electrical Engineering (HEE) provided design and construction services for replacement of the 2.5 <br />miles of Biscayne Blvd (US1) Roadway Lighting System in the City of Aventura. The existing lighting system <br />was comprised of cobra head fixtures on aluminum light poles that did not fit with the City’s Architectural <br />Scheme. Total Electrical Cost: $3,000,000.00. <br />Project Highlights: <br />▪ Lighting protect was divided into four separate phases and four plan volumes that were bid out <br />separately. <br />▪ New lighting system was installed prior to the demolition of the existing lighting system.
