CAS was responsible
for the drainage system, roadway design and harmonization
components of the CIP. The design incorporated engineering
techniques to reduce future sea level rises such as elevating
the existing roadways, increasing the size of the drainage
system, providing water quality, installing three pump stations
and backflow prevention devices to avoid extreme high tides
from re-entering the systems. Total CAS engineering design
costs for the project was $404,154. Estimated costs for the
project is $8 million. Project design began in January 2014
and was completed in November 2015. Construction for this
project is on-going.
Survey, engineering stormwater design, drainage calculations and modeling, cost estimates,
permitting, and engineering services during construction.
Key Personnel:
Stephen C.
