Miami Dade Public School District, Florida - Various K-12 Schools <br />(Qualification Based Continuing Contract) ongoing ongoing <br />Miami Dade Public Schools Mr. Juan Salinas 305-995-4696 <br />Miami Dade Public School District is one of the many <br />School Districts which we have a Qualification Based <br />Contract for Geotechnical Engineering, Construction <br />Materials Testing and Structural (Special/ Threshold) <br />Inspections and Environmental Services. <br />We have held this contract since 2000, mere months after <br />opening our Miami office/ lab location. This award was <br />especially gratifying since it was our first time presenting <br />to that School District. Since 2000, we have maintained a <br />presence on at least 2 sites at any given time. <br />RECENT PROJECTS: <br />State School SSS-1/ Medical Technologies Senior <br />High School, Homestead - Retrofit of the existing <br />Homestead Hospital into a classroom building. Interior <br />renovations included demolition of interior walls, <br />installation of new columns, and modification to the <br />existing foundations. Exterior renovations included <br />creation of a drop off area, right of way improvements, <br />asphalt resurfacing and potential abandonment or <br />removal of underground storage tanks. <br />Services include geotechnical services and construction <br />material testing and inspections. <br />Miami Norland Senior High School Expansion- <br />Construction of three (3) new one, two, and three-story <br />buildings at the existing school complex, and installation <br />of a new drainage system. <br />Services include geotechnical services and construction <br />materials testing. <br />New Prototype High School YYY- ~300,000 SF <br />(1,700 student stations) of new construction inc. <br />administration, media center, electives and academic <br />wings, food service, chiller building, PE shelter, teachers, <br />parent and student parking, associated athletic courts and <br />fields. <br />Services inc. geotechnical services, monitoring services, <br />South Miami Middle School-project includes the <br />installation of an 8” diameter PVC by approximately 600 <br />foot long sanitary sewer line. <br />Services include geotechnical engineering, monitoring <br />services, materials testing and special inspections. <br />Our experience including drainage evaluations, classroom <br />buildings, libraries, athletic buildings, affiliated fields, bill <br />boards, concessions stands, parking and driving areas, <br />associated land purchases, etc. <br />Nutting Engineers of Florida, Inc.
