BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO <br />THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />This project for the Northern Palm Beach County <br />Improvement District involved renovations at <br />Eastpointe Pump Station that included installation of <br />new concrete panel retaining wall, installation of <br />precast concrete piles to support the foundation for <br />two new pumps and installation of 1-story precast <br />concrete building for pump station. <br /> <br />RADISE mobilized a truck mounted drill rig and <br />conducted a site visit and field reconnaissance to <br />observe existing site conditions. A layout of boring <br />locations in the field was prepared, as well as utilities <br />cleared through Sunshine. <br /> <br />RADISE’s field exploration included performing SPT <br />borings. Laboratory Testing included sampling from <br />the borings and classification in accordance with the <br />Unified Soil Classification System (ASTM D 2487). Representative samples from the SPT borings were tested for index <br />properties such as moisture content and grain size distribution and for for corrosivity. <br /> <br />RADISE provided a geotechnical engineering evaluation and prepared a report. <br /> <br />25.
