<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-Z-17 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, FOR WILLIAMS <br />ISLAND OCEAN CLUB, INC., FOR APPROVAL OF <br />UNUSUAL USE TO PERMIT PRIVATE RECREATIONAL <br />FACILITY IN CONJUNCTION WITH AN EXISTING HOTEL <br />AND NON-USE VARIANCES FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />17875 COLLINS AVENUE; PROVIDING FOR AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Williams Island Ocean Club, Inc., has applied for the following: <br /> <br />1. Unusual Use to permit a private recreational facility ( to wit, a beach club, lockers, <br />restaurant/lounge and related uses) in conjunction with an existing hotel. <br /> <br />2. Non Use Variance of parking requirements to permit a total of 119 parking spaces (46 <br />parking spaces are tandem) (226 spaces required). <br /> <br />3. Non Use Variance to permit tandem parking (none permitted). <br /> <br />4.
