RESOLUTION NO. 2001-~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A 60-MONTH LEASE AGREEMENT WITH COPYCO FOR A TOSHIBA 6570 WITH SC2 CONTROLLER BASED ON THE AGREEMENT ATTACHED AS EXHIBIT "A"; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DO ALL OTHER THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the number of employees in the City Hall has grown and in-house copying/printing/scanning needs have increased dramatically; and WHEREAS, our current copiers are inadequate to meet current and future needs; and WHEREAS, staff has researched leasing a digital copier and determined that the Toshiba 6570 with SC2 controller has the appropriate copying/printing/scanning capability to allow for expand copying/printing/scanning capability. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approval of Lease Agreement. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a 60-month lease agreement on a government contract with Copyco a Toshiba Company for a Toshiba 6570 with SC2 Controller, in an amount of anywhere from Four Hundred Seventy Dollars ($470.00) per month based on the number of copies, as more particularly set forth in the agreements attached hereto as Exhibit "A". Section 2. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute said contract and do all things necessary to effectuate the terms of this agreement. Section 3.
